Wiccans Creed

I believe in the Great Spirit,
who is both Goddess and God,
the eternal force in creation,
dwelling in the cycles of Earth and Sky.

I honor the Lady,
the Triple Goddess—Maiden, Mother, and Crone—
who dances with the moon
and sustains the web of life.

I honor the Lord,
the Horned God—youthful Sun and shadowed Hunter—
with virility like a stag
and guards the turning wheel.

I believe in the sacred Earth,
our living temple,
and in the Elements—Earth, Air, Fire, Water, and Spirit—
which form and sustain all life.

I believe in the turning of the Wheel,
the Sabbats and Esbats,
the rhythm of birth, death, and rebirth,
and the path that leads to wisdom.

I walk in harmony with Nature,
seeking balance and truth,
and I honor all paths that lead to the Divine.
So mote it be.

Prayer

Shield me now with your cloak of power,
Guard my spirit every hour.
I walk in peace, as all things must,
In perfect love and perfect trust.

Lady of Light and Lord of Might,
I thank you for this blessed night.

I thank you for this sacred rite. (used in ritual)
OR
I thank you for the day and night.
OR
I thank you for your guiding light. (spiritual tone)
For breath, for Earth, for flame and sea,
I give my devotion, so mote it be.

God and Goddess

Maiden fair, with hope anew,
Dance with joy, your dreams pursue.
Mother full of love and light,
Guide and guard me through the night.
Crone of wisdom, deep and wise,
Lead me to where true wisdom lies.

Horned One of the forest deep,
Awaken strength from ancient sleep.
Guardian, hunter, lover, guide—
Awaken the power I hold inside.
So mote it be.
